“My internship at AVYA Technologies was an incredibly valuable experience. I worked on developing a JavaScript tool to calculate elevated surface areas using API integrations, which gave me practical exposure to writing clean, efficient code and thinking through real engineering problems. It was the first time I’d participated in a real-world technical project, and it really strengthened my confidence in applying software to technical design work. What stood out most was the atmosphere within the team, where everyone was approachable, supportive, and invested in helping me progress. I had the space to ask questions, try out different approaches, and learn from the feedback I received. The experience helped me build a stronger technical foundation and improved how I communicate and collaborate within a professional setting.
